We had an awesome stay with friends! The hotel was close to our fishing adventure on Lake Oahe, which was fantastic. Plus, we enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Overall, the amenities fit our needs really well.
The staff at the front desk seemed overwhelmed and disinterested, which made check-in frustrating.

The stay offered a clean and comfortable room with a lovely communal pool area. However, some outdated touches, like the inconsistent service and noise from the nearby railroad, were noticeable. Overall, it provided good value for the price.

Our stay was fantastic! The outdoor pool area was perfect for the kids, and we enjoyed fishing on Lake Oahe—caught some great walleye! The big restaurant had diverse menu options that made it easy to please everyone in the family.
My kids wished for a better breakfast setup with more healthy options.

The fresh fish at the hotel restaurant was a total catch—cooked to perfection! Plus, I loved the spacious lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The grounds were a sight to see too, very well maintained and inviting.
While the staff was cheerful, not getting my requested early check-in was a letdown, especially since it felt like a missed chance to impress. Also, the lack of an elevator made maneuvering my luggage a challenge.

Encountered significant issues during my stay, with disruptive maintenance work starting too early and a lack of communication leading to access problems with my room. The food at the restaurant was disappointing as well, with a plate lacking in balance and value. On a brighter note, the staff's willingness to upgrade my room was appreciated, and the hotel's efforts to maintain its facilities showed promise.

I stayed in a Standard Queen Room and honestly, it was kind of a mixed bag. The bed was comfy, which was nice after a long day. But I did notice the bathroom fixtures felt small and cramped. Plus, I could hear the HVAC unit running—it was pretty noisy. The room was clean, and I appreciated that, but I expected a little more comfort overall.

I had a nice stay! The indoor pool was beautiful and the breakfast selection was decent, but it was disappointing that the hot tub was out of order. I'd still come back for sure!

great service but outdated decor
The front desk staff was exceptionally understanding and offered us an upgraded room to avoid stairs. The hotel is well-maintained and has a spacious restaurant with excellent dining options. I particularly enjoyed the large pool view from my room, which added a relaxing touch to our stay.
The decor, while charming, feels a bit dated and could use a refresh.
